Fees
Trading on Liquary carries two layers of fees: Hyperliquid’s protocol fees, which you pay trading on Hyperliquid anywhere, and a small Liquary fee on top.
Hyperliquid protocol fees
Standard base rates:
| Market | Taker | Maker |
|---|---|---|
| Perps | 0.045% | 0.015% |
| Spot | 0.070% | 0.040% |
Your effective rate can be lower, with Hyperliquid’s discounts for:
- VIP / volume tiers: higher 14-day volume lowers your rate.
- Staking: staking HYPE earns a fee discount.
- Referrals: trading under a referral code gives a standing discount (see Referrals).
The order panel always shows your real, post-discount rate.
Liquary fee
The Liquary fee is 0% until October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM UTC, on perps, spot and prediction markets: you pay Hyperliquid’s protocol fee and nothing on top. It applies to every order, for everyone, with nothing to claim. The schedule below resumes afterwards.
The Liquary fee is a builder fee on top of Hyperliquid’s, collected on-chain through Hyperliquid’s builder codes. It is the only fee Liquary earns on trading.
It drops as your trailing 14-day volume grows, and the maker side reaches 0 at higher tiers:
| Tier | 14-day volume | Perps taker | Perps maker | Spot taker | Spot maker |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Iron | ≤ $5M | 0.025% | 0.010% | 0.030% | 0.008% |
| Bronze | > $5M | 0.020% | 0.006% | 0.022% | 0.004% |
| Silver | > $25M | 0.014% | 0.003% | 0.015% | 0.000% |
| Gold | > $100M | 0.009% | 0.000% | 0.010% | 0.000% |
| Platinum | > $500M | 0.006% | 0.000% | 0.006% | 0.000% |
| Diamond | > $2B | 0.004% | 0.000% | 0.004% | 0.000% |
| Obsidian | > $7B | 0.003% | 0.000% | 0.003% | 0.000% |
Each tier is a rank, from Iron, where every account starts, to Obsidian. Your rank follows your 14-day volume both ways, like the rate (unlike a badge, which is kept once earned).
Referred accounts (anyone who joined through a referral link) get a standing 5% discount on the Liquary fee, at every tier, for life.
The Fee rates page (/account/fees, linked from the footer) shows your
current rank, your all-in rate (Hyperliquid + Liquary) and your 14-day
volume against the next rank’s threshold. The trade panel shows the rate on
every order.
Which side it applies to:
| Market | Builder fee charged on |
|---|---|
| Perps | both sides: opening and closing |
| Spot | sell side only: buys are free |
| Prediction markets | both sides: buying and selling. Holding to settlement carries none |
A perp TWAP and a trailing stop carry no builder fee: their fills pay the protocol fee alone. The prediction TWAP pays the normal rate.
When you set up trading, you approve the builder fee once, up to a 0.1% ceiling (Hyperliquid’s perp maximum), so the rate can move within it without asking you to re-sign. The rate you pay is your tier’s, shown at order time. You can revoke the approval any time from your wallet or Settings.
Swap & bridge fees
Bridge and the HyperEVM tab of Swap are routed by LI.FI and carry a 0.15% Liquary integrator fee, on top of the underlying DEX and bridge costs and LI.FI’s own fee. The quote you confirm includes every fee, shows Liquary’s share on its own line, and the exact amount you receive. The 0% promotion does not cover this fee.
The HyperCore tab of Swap places spot market orders on Hyperliquid’s books: it pays the spot trading fees above, not the 0.15%.
Deposits & withdrawals
Liquary adds no fee to a deposit or a withdrawal. You pay the network gas and any bridge cost, shown in the route quote, plus two Hyperliquid charges:
- Account activation: 1 USDC, once, taken from a new account. A first deposit must therefore be at least $2.
- USDC withdrawals to Arbitrum: 1 USDC each, flat, through Hyperliquid’s bridge.
See Deposit funds and Withdraw & send.
Prediction markets
The Liquary builder fee on prediction markets is a flat 0.05%, not volume-tiered, on each fill, buying and selling alike. Like every other market, it is waived until October 31, 2026 (see Liquary fee).
Hyperliquid’s own fee is charged to the seller, never on a buy. Its rate is your spot taker rate times a factor that depends on the market’s deployer, so the same sale can cost more on one venue than another. The ticket prices it before you sell.
Holding to settlement carries no Liquary fee, but it is not free: Hyperliquid takes its fee on the payout of your winning shares, at the same rate as a sale. Cashing out early pays both fees; holding to resolution pays Hyperliquid’s alone. A losing side pays out nothing and pays no fee.
Polymarket
A market order on Polymarket pays Polymarket’s
taker fee, shares × rate × price × (1 − price), at a rate Polymarket sets
per market (some carry none). A limit order fills as a maker and pays none,
and redeeming a winning share is free. None of the Hyperliquid fees above
apply. Liquary’s builder fee there is included in every cost the ticket
prints: 0% as of September 2026. Details on the Polymarket
page.
