Security & self-custody

Liquary is non-custodial: you stay in control of your funds at all times.

Self-custody

  • Your funds live in your Hyperliquid account, controlled by your wallet. A Polymarket balance sits in a Polymarket wallet on Polygon that only your wallet controls.
  • Liquary never takes custody of your assets.
  • You can withdraw to another chain whenever you like.

Trading agents

A trading agent is a delegated key you approve to place and cancel orders. It cannot withdraw funds. You can revoke it at any time, on a single device or everywhere.

What’s stored where

  • Your private keys never leave your wallet.
  • Email (embedded) wallets are self-custodial: the key is yours alone, secured by our wallet provider, and Liquary can’t move your funds. You can export the key anytime from Settings → Export private key.
  • Trading-agent keys are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device, not on any server.
  • Alerts data (only if you enable alerts) is the one thing kept account-side, and you can export or delete it whenever you want. See Devices & privacy.

Good habits

⚠️
  • Always verify you’re on the official Liquary domain before connecting.
  • Double-check addresses and networks when depositing from an exchange.
  • Use isolated margin and stop-losses to bound risk on leveraged positions.
  • Consider a dead-man switch to pull your resting orders if you step away. It cancels your stop-losses too, so it does not protect a position.
  • Revoke trading agents you no longer use.
